Sean L. Ward is a senior project and program management leader with more than 30 years of experience turning complex initiatives into structured, measurable results. Throughout his career, he has led multimillion-dollar technology, infrastructure, modernization, and organizational transformation initiatives across healthcare, financial services, legal, telecommunications, manufacturing, and other complex operating environments.

His experience spans the full project lifecycle, from strategy, planning, and governance through execution, vendor management, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and executive reporting. Sean has built and led enterprise project management organizations, directed large-scale cloud and data migrations, managed infrastructure transformation initiatives, and guided organizations through Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.

What distinguishes Sean's approach is a fundamental belief that successful project management is not simply about managing schedules and tasks, it is about creating the structure, accountability, communication, and leadership necessary to turn organizational priorities into results.

That philosophy extends beyond the corporate environment. Sean has been actively involved in civic and economic development through his leadership of the East Cleveland Growth Association and his work mentoring entrepreneurs and small-business owners. These experiences have given him firsthand insight into the challenges facing municipalities, nonprofits, community organizations, and other public-purpose institutions—particularly when ambitious goals must be pursued with limited resources, multiple stakeholders, regulatory requirements, and heightened public accountability.

Sean founded Civic Project Services to bring the same project-management discipline, governance standards, and execution rigor used to deliver complex enterprise initiatives to organizations serving the public.

Through Civic Project Services, he works with municipalities, school districts, nonprofits, public agencies, and mission-driven organizations to establish clear project structures, strengthen governance, coordinate stakeholders and vendors, manage risk, improve reporting, and maintain accountability from planning through completion.
